I'm going to Paris on Thursday!
Last week, my mum suprised me
with a citytrip to Paris for my birthday.
I’m looking forward to drinking coffee and eating croissants (clichĂ© but
delicious) on our way to the charming museums.
One of the
advantages of Brussels is that you are only a two-hour train ride away from
Paris (and London).
Eat/shop/visit
recommendations are always welcome and very much appreciated.
Love,
Sara
Note: the video above is the intro of 'Midnight in Paris' by Woody Allen. Brilliant movie.
In the
spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.

Spring is
all about drinking a large amount of green tea, noticing the days are finally getting
longer, re-watching BBC Sherlock, having breakfast on the porch, gardening and
buying lots of flowers at the farmer’s market.
How do you celebrate Spring?
Love,
Sara
Oui oui, I will be turning 23 next Monday (insert sad face).
One of
these iPhone cases by Rifle Paper Co. would make a perfect birthday gift.
They have been on my whishlist ever since Anna mentioned them on her twitter/instagram feed back in January...

If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Brussels (Belgium), go and visit the ‘Yves Saint Laurent’
exhibition.
It shows for the first time, how Yves Saint Laurent's designs and concepts have radically changed the world of fashion, turning it into what it is today. The exhibition focuses on the visionary power of this flamboyant designer. This collection, which has never been seen before, has been put together in conjunction with the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation.
After not being able to go to the Yves Saint Laurent exhibition when I was in Montreal in 2008, I was happy to finally see Yves’ talented work. The sixties and seventies are my favorite decades and it goes without saying that he is one of my favorite designers of that time.
And yes, the
Mondrian day dress is a beauty in real life.
Love,
Sara
Note: The exhibition runs from 30 January to 5 May 2013 in the ING Cultural Centre, Place Royale 6, 1000 Brussels. Open every day, including public holidays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday evenings until 9 p.m.

Easter
weekend at my grandparents’ house is always eventful. Family gatherings, Easter egg hunts, gardening
and lots of chocolate are involved.
I hope you
had a delightful weekend too,
Sara
Come a little bit closer, hear what I have to say. Just like children sleepin', we could dream this night away.
