What is a 'Weekend'?

fisherman's beanie & sweater from H&M boots from Aigle Jupiter and Venus

The very first days of spring were spent at the seaside this year. Not yet warm enough to walk around in dresses and skirts but warm enough for some reading and picnicking on the beach.

Did you know that March was an extraordinary month for watching the planets? From my seaside balcony I spotted Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and even Mars!

Love,
Sara

The title of this blog post is obviously taken from ‘Downton Abbey’. I just love Maggie Smith as Lady Violet with her grandmotherly burns!

  7. mooie foto's! mijn vader woont in de polder, daar is het 's nachts erg donker en zie je dus veel sterren. het viel me al op dat er een paar hele grote heldere sterren waren, maar misschien waren dat ook wel planeten!

  9. Beautiful images! I have been longing for a visit to the sea.

LOVE the Downton reference. I hope Maggie Smith turns out to be truly an immortal goddess. What would we do in a world without Maggie?!

  10. I'm so glad I stumbled across your blog, I love it! You're my new time-waster at work :)

I actually wandered over to the planetarium on the first day of spring and there was a crowd of people set up with their own telescopes so I got to take a peek out at Mars and Venus too. They were still blurry specs though, but still magical.
