The very first days of spring were spent at the seaside this year. Not yet warm enough to walk around in dresses and skirts but warm enough for some reading and picnicking on the beach.
Did you know that March was an extraordinary month for watching the planets? From my seaside balcony I spotted Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and even Mars!
Love,
Sara
The title of this blog post is obviously taken from ‘Downton Abbey’. I just love Maggie Smith as Lady Violet with her grandmotherly burns!

Planning the next day with a map of the ski area
More cheese
Local cheese 'Abondance'
Preparing lunch for on the slopes
My favorite mountains: 'Les Dents du Midi'
Nougat ice cream
Postcards
Late night reading before going to bed
'Twin Peaks' will always be on my mind
Avoriaz with its amazing 70's architecture
Little hot chocolate break in front of the 'Dents du Midi'
So, these were the very last pictures of my ski trip in the French/Swiss Alps back in February.
Now it's time for Spring!

Sara

My order from Rifle Paper Co. finally came in today!
It was only recently that I realized I didn’t have a proper calendar yet, so I was happy to order this pretty one (the calendars are even on sale!).
Love,
Sara
