Happy Mardi Gras/ Pancake Day/ Shrove Tuesday !
Celebrating Mardi Gras (dressing up, partying, …) is kind of a big deal over here in Belgium but I’ve never been really into it.
The only thing I do enjoy on this day are the pancakes!

Almost all
the pictures of my trip were taken on the first and last day when the sun
finally decided to show up.
For a
couple of days it was snowing like crazy and we couldn’t see anything on the
slopes. It was frustrating to have to go inside instead of skiing until the
late afternoon.
We even lost a member of our group because of the heavy fog.
Luckily, she was safe and sound and found her way back to the lodging
we were staying at.

I know it
has been a little quiet over here lately …
Taking some
time off the internet/blogging world was refreshing and I’m happy to start
posting more regularly.
Finally
going back to the mountains.
A full week of snow, cold and skiing in the Alps sounds perfect right know (as
it always does).
